The 2nd Suffolk Regiment, 1st Companie of Foote - Colonel Benjamin Lincoln's Regiment, "The Hingham Militia Company" is a group of volunteers who reenact the minutemen of Hingham gathered by Colonel Benjamin Lincoln at the time of America's Revolutionary War. The uniformed group participates in parades and other celebrations adding historic relevance and color by displaying period flags, firing reproduction flint lock muskets and playing fife and drum while marching in formation. The group is in no way supportive or associated with any groups past or present seeking to overthrow or engage in conflict with the present government of the United States or any local representatives thereof.
